Cornr — Ride Tracking for Motorcyclists

By downloading, installing, or using the Cornr mobile application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

Cornr ("we", "our", or "us") is based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. For questions, contact us at contact@ridecornr.com.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction if higher) to create an account and use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

2. Account Registration

  • You may sign up using email, Google Sign-In, or Apple Sign-In.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Description of the Service

Cornr is a ride-tracking application for motorcyclists. The App provides features including, but not limited to:

  • GPS-based ride recording and route tracking
  • Ride metrics (speed, lean angle, acceleration, braking, duration)
  • Weather and altitude data during rides
  • Community features (clubs, social feed, leaderboards)
  • Route discovery and navigation
  • Achievement and streak tracking
  • Bike and gear management

Some features are only available through a paid subscription ("Cornr Pro"). See Section 7 for subscription terms.

4. Data Accuracy, Metrics, and Rankings

  • Ride metrics, route quality indicators, scores, rankings, and leaderboard positions are generated from device sensors, user input, and third-party data sources, and may contain errors, delays, or omissions.
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or fitness of any metric, score, comparison, or ranking for any particular purpose.
  • Leaderboards, achievements, and performance scores may be recalculated, adjusted, corrected, removed, or reset at any time, including to address bugs, fraud, abuse, data inconsistencies, or feature updates.
  • We may apply anti-cheat, validation, and moderation controls, and may invalidate rides or results that we reasonably believe are manipulated, unsafe, fraudulent, or inconsistent with normal use.

5. Safety Disclaimer

IMPORTANT — PLEASE READ CAREFULLY.

  • Cornr is an informational and entertainment tool. It is not a safety device.
  • The App is not a substitute for safe riding practices, proper training, or situational awareness.
  • You are solely responsible for your safety and the safety of others while riding. Never interact with the App while operating a motorcycle.
  • Ride metrics such as lean angle, speed, and G-force are approximations derived from device sensors and may not be accurate. Do not rely on them for safety-critical decisions.
  • Weather data, speed camera alerts, and navigation are provided for convenience only and may be incomplete or inaccurate.
  • We are not responsible for any accidents, injuries, property damage, or death resulting from the use of or reliance on the App.
  • By using the App, you acknowledge that motorcycling is an inherently dangerous activity and you assume all risks associated with riding.

6. Assumption of Risk for Motorcycling

  • You acknowledge that operating a motorcycle and participating in related activities involve inherent and significant risks, including serious injury, disability, death, and property damage.
  • You voluntarily assume all risks arising from your riding activities, route choices, speed, road conditions, weather, traffic, and any interaction with other riders or road users.
  • You are solely responsible for complying with all applicable traffic laws, licensing requirements, insurance requirements, and safety obligations.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, you release and hold harmless Cornr from claims arising out of your riding activities, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

7. Subscriptions and Payments

7.1 Cornr Pro

Cornr Pro is a paid subscription that unlocks additional features including advanced ride analytics, unlimited bikes and gear, club and event creation, data export, and more.

7.2 Pricing and Billing

  • Subscriptions are available on a monthly or yearly basis.
  • Prices are displayed in the App before purchase and may vary by region.
  • Payment is processed through Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play), depending on your platform.
  • All prices include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

7.3 Free Trial

  • We may offer a free trial period for new subscribers.
  • If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription.

7.4 Auto-Renewal

  • Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Your Apple ID or Google account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

7.5 Cancellation

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through your device's subscription settings (Apple App Store or Google Play Store).
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to Pro features until then.
  • We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. Refund requests must be directed to Apple or Google, as applicable.

7.6 Subscription Disclosure

  • Payment will be charged to your Apple ID or Google account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Subscription lengths and pricing are shown in-app before purchase.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period at the then-current subscription price.
  • You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store or Google Play account settings after purchase.
  • Any unused portion of a free trial, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where permitted by applicable law.

8. User Content

8.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of any content you create or upload through the App, including ride data, profile information, photos, and club posts ("User Content").

By posting User Content to public or shared areas of the App (e.g., clubs, social feed, leaderboards), you grant Cornr a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, distribute, and make available that content within the App for the purpose of operating the service.

8.2 Content Standards

You agree not to post or share content that:

  • Is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, or defamatory
  • Promotes illegal activities, including reckless or dangerous riding
  • Infringes on the intellectual property rights of others
  • Contains spam, advertising, or solicitation
  • Impersonates another person or entity

8.3 Content Moderation

We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms, without prior notice. Repeated violations may result in account suspension or termination.

9. Community and Route Safety

  • Community features are provided to help users share riding experiences, not to encourage unsafe behavior.
  • Route posts, recommendations, shared tracks, and club/event content are user-generated or third-party derived and may be inaccurate, outdated, restricted, or unsafe.
  • You are solely responsible for independently assessing road, traffic, weather, legal, and safety conditions before following any route or participating in any meetup or ride.
  • We do not organize, supervise, or control user rides, group events, or in-person interactions, and are not responsible for incidents arising from them.

10. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App while actively operating a motorcycle or any vehicle
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Use the App to harass, stalk, or threaten other users
  • Exploit bugs, vulnerabilities, or automated tools to gain unfair advantages on leaderboards
  • Use the App for any purpose that is illegal or not expressly authorised by these Terms
  • Create multiple accounts to circumvent bans or restrictions
  • Scrape, collect, or harvest data from the App or its users

11. Competition and Leaderboard Integrity

  • Leaderboards, badges, and rankings are provided for informational and entertainment purposes only and have no cash value.
  • You may not manipulate ride data, spoof location, automate submissions, tamper with sensors, or engage in collusion or other behavior intended to distort rankings.
  • We reserve the right to investigate suspicious activity and to remove rides, adjust rankings, suspend features, or terminate accounts for integrity violations.
  • Our decisions regarding fraud prevention and leaderboard integrity are final, subject to applicable law.

12. Intellectual Property

  • The App, including its design, code, branding, and original content, is owned by Cornr and protected by intellectual property laws.
  • "Cornr" and associated logos are trademarks of Cornr. You may not use them without our prior written consent.
  • These Terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property except the limited right to use the App as described herein.

13. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with third-party services including:

  • Supabase — authentication and data storage
  • RevenueCat — subscription management
  • Google Maps / Mapbox — maps and navigation
  • Sentry — crash reporting and performance monitoring
  • Apple / Google — payment processing and push notifications

Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies, which govern your interactions with those services. We are not responsible for the availability or accuracy of third-party services.

14. Platform Provider Disclaimer (Apple / Google)

  • These Terms are concluded between you and Cornr, not with Apple Inc. or Google LLC.
  • Apple and Google are not responsible for the App, its content, maintenance, support services, or claims relating to the App (including product liability, legal compliance, or intellectual property claims), except as required by applicable law.
  • In the event of any failure of the App to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple or Google as applicable, and they may provide a refund of the purchase price paid for the App, if any, in accordance with their platform terms.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple and Google have no other warranty obligations with respect to the App.
  • You must comply with all applicable third-party terms while using the App.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

  • The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
  • We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.
  • Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to these Terms or the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or €50, whichever is greater.
  • Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law (including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence).

16. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Cornr harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the App
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your User Content
  • Your riding activities

17. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please refer to https://ridecornr.com/privacy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.

18. Changes to These Terms

  • We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the App or via email.
  • Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
  • If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you should stop using the App and delete your account.

19. Service Availability and Feature Changes

  • We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App, including features, integrations, and pricing plans, at any time.
  • We do not guarantee continuous availability of the App or any specific feature, and service interruptions may occur for maintenance, updates, technical issues, or third-party dependency failures.
  • We may impose usage limits, eligibility criteria, or feature restrictions to maintain security, stability, and service quality.

20. Termination

  • You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time through the App's settings.
  • We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice.
  • Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 5, 8.1, 15, 16, 21, and 22) will continue to apply.

21. Governing Law and Disputes

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of The Netherlands.
  • Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
  • If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, you retain any mandatory consumer protection rights granted by the laws of your country of residence.

22. Export Compliance

  • You agree to comply with all applicable export control and sanctions laws and regulations in connection with your use of the App.
  • You represent and warrant that you are not located in, organized under the laws of, or ordinarily resident in a country or territory subject to comprehensive trade sanctions, and that you are not listed on any government restricted-party list.
  • You may not use, export, re-export, transfer, or make the App available in violation of applicable export laws.

23. General

  • If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
  • Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
  • These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Cornr regarding the App.
